Installing Fuel Line - Fuel Pump To Tank

Install fuel line.
1. 1.1. Push fuel line through toward the front -arrow A- .
2. 1.2. Press the fuel line into the line bracket -arrow B- and close the line bracket -arrow C- until the locking lug engages securely.
3. 1.3. Push fuel line upwards through along the tank -arrow D- and press into the line bracket -arrow E- until the fuel line engages securely.

Connect fuel line with the fuel hose onto the fuel pump -arrow- and secure with a new hose clamp -1- .

Slide fuel pump together with the rubber sleeve onto the holder -arrow- .

Install cover plate.
1. 4.1. Insert cover plate -arrow- and screw down with the fastening screws -2- . → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
2. 4.2. Tighten fastening nut -1- . → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Plug in connector on the fuel pump -arrow- until the connector engages securely.

Secure fuel line on tank.
1. 6.1. Connect plug-in coupling onto tank connection -arrow A- until the retaining clip -arrow B- engages securely.
2. 6.2. Press fuel line into the holder -arrow C- until the fuel line engages securely.

Information

The fastening screws for the seat-belt buckle bracket must be replaced.

The removed fastening screws must not be re-used.
Install tank cut-out cover.
1. 7.1. Insert tank cut-out cover -arrow A- and screw down with the fastening nuts -arrows 6- . → Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
2. 7.2. Fold back the carpeted floor -arrow B- .
3. 7.3. Position bracket together with the seat-belt buckle -arrow C- and screw down with the fastening screws -5- . → Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

Fold back the right rear seat -arrow A- , press downward at the front edge -arrow B- and push to the rear -arrow C- .
