Removing Complete Heater

Unlock central plug -arrow A- and remove -arrow B- .

Before disconnecting the water lines, it is essential to observe the safety instructions in → WM 1001AW The most important working regulations and warning notes
Drain coolant. → 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT (INCLUDES BLEEDING)
Clamp the two upper hoses -b- using a hose clamp 3094 -d- .

Clamp the two lower hoses -c- using a hose clamp 3094 -d- .
Undo the fastening screw -arrow 1- and push the clamp downwards -arrow- .

Release both spring band clamps using assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections Nr.72-1 -a- (-arrows A-) and slide them off the adapters -arrow B- .

Pull both hoses off the lines -arrow C and D- .
Loosen the spring band clamps using the assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections Nr.72-1 -a- (-arrows A-) and slide them off the adapters -arrow B- .

Pull out muffler downwards -arrow A- .

Unscrew fastening screws -arrows 2- .
Pull out both lines together with the mount downward out of the hoses -arrows B- .
Unscrew fastening nut -arrow 3- .

Pull out both lines downward out of the hoses -arrows- .
Unclip fuel line at the water tube -arrow- .

Loosen the clamp -arrow A- and take out the fuel line along with the connecting hose -arrow B- .

Unscrew the fastening nut -4- and the fastening screw -5- and undo the mount with the lines.

Unscrew the fastening screws -arrows 6- , disengage the holder -arrow A- and take out the complete heater -arrow B- .
