Removing The Rear Vehicle Floor Suction Line

WARNING: Refrigerant
  • Danger of freezing

→ Avoid contact with refrigerant.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

  1. Remove refrigerant by suction. → Draining and filling in refrigerant

  2. Unscrew the fastening screws -2-  for the refrigerant lines, then unclip the refrigerant lines -A-  (low pressure) and -B-  (high pressure) from the support -D-  . Seal the connections and refrigerant lines with plugs.

  3. Unscrew the fastening screws -4-  for the refrigerant lines -B-  and for the coolant line Kuhlmittelleitung -C-  .

  4. Unscrew the fastening screws -4-  for the refrigerant lines -A-  , -B-  and for the coolant line -C-  .
  5. Unscrew the fastening screws -2-  for the refrigerant lines, then seal the refrigerant lines, -A-  (low pressure) and -B-  (high pressure), and the connections with plugs.
  6. Pull out refrigerant lines -A-  (low pressure) and -B-  (high pressure) together. Unclip lines from the retaining clips.
