Removing Expansion Valve

→ Avoid contact with refrigerant.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Remove refrigerant by suction. → Draining and filling in refrigerant
Undo the two fastening screws -1- for the expansion valve refrigerant lines.

Pull out refrigerant lines from expansion valve and close with plugs.
Undo the two fastening screws for the expansion valve -2- and remove expansion valve.
