Subsequent Work

  • Danger of poisoning or suffocation

→ Ventilate the work area well.

→ Never ingest or inhale.

→ Read specific information on the Hazard Sheet.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Do not smoke, eat or drink in the work area.

WARNING: Highly inflammable or explosive materials
  • Danger of fire or explosion

→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapours.

→ Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.

  1. Remove electric adapter.
  2. Fit relay for fuel pumps.
  3. Assemble central electrics box.

    Information 

    Place cloths underneath the line connection points to soak up fuel.

  4. Remove fuel measuring tool.
    1. 4.1. Disconnect measuring tool from output of the connection unit.

    2. 4.2. Disconnect all connection points.
    3. 4.3. Remove measuring tool.
  5. Establish all fuel connections in the vehicle.
    1. 5.1. Connect plug connections -arrows-  .

    2. 5.2. Check that plug connections are seated correctly.
  6. Use a cloth to absorb all remaining fuel.
  7. Install rear seat. → Installing Rear Seat
    1. 7.1. Position lid.
    2. 7.2. Screw in and tighten the four screws.
    3. 7.3. Secure carpeted floor.

    Information 

    Always replace the fastening screws on the three-point seat belt. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated (e.g. greased) or loosened and then screwed on again.

  8. Secure reinforcement plate for right seat-belt buckle. → WM 691219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR THREE-POINT BELT
  9. Disconnect the charger.
  10. Air the vehicle with the windows open.
