Removing Carbon Canister

CAUTION:
  • Lines can become kinked or can crack.

→ Do not leave carbon canister hanging freely on the lines.

→ Secure carbon canister with wire.

  1. Loosen fastening screws (2x M6) and M6 nut.
  2. Carefully disconnect all lines on the carbon canister at the plug connections.
    1. 2.1. Also remove the vacuum line on vehicles with a leakage diagnosis pump.
  3. Remove wiring harness at the back of the carbon canister.
  4. Remove carbon canister.
