Installing Intake Manifold

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Porsche Cayenne, 2009 Porsche Cayenne, and 2008 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Information

If you find leaks at the connection point between the intake manifold and turbocharger (drops of engine oil), the intake manifold and screw-type clamp must be replaced.

  1. If there is dirt or dust under the intake manifold, clean the affected components.
  2. Fit the intake manifold on the turbocharger using a new screw-type clamp.
  3. Complete the connections on the intake manifold and tighten the screw-type clamp to the specified tightening torque. -2- Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5 ft lbs.)
