Checking clutch for wear

Measure clutch wear at one of the three clutch adjusters. To do this, measure using material 00000 between adjuster and clutch pressure plate -arrow, inset- .

- Measurement when new: ~ 16 mm.
- Replace the clutch if the measured value is ≤ 8 mm.
Clutch is OK:
Install transmission. → Installing transmission
Clutch is defective:
Replace clutch. → 305019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CLUTCH
