Procedure For Releasing Connectors That Are Difficult To Move

  1. Pull connector off lid-release motor.

    1. 1.1. Release connector on motor for lid-release with suitable auxiliary materials (e.g.. angled piece of wire with diameter of approx. 1mm) -a- -arrow A-  and pull off -arrow B-  .

      Engage wire at the release. Pulling on the wire in direction of arrow releases the connector and can be pulled off.

  2. Pull off connector on sensor for airbag.

    1. 2.1. Push in lock -b-  on connector for airbag sensor -a-  , until this is felt to engage -arrow A-  .
    2. 2.2. Release locking mechanism on the latch -b- -arrow B-  and pull off connector on sensor for airbag -a- -arrow C-  .
  3. Pull off head airbag connector.

    1. 3.1. Press down the lock on the plug socket -arrow A-  and maintain in this position.
    2. 3.2. Release -arrow B-  and pull off -arrow C-  connector.
  4. Pull off connector on brake fluid reservoir.

    1. 4.1. Release connector on brake fluid reservoir -arrow A-  and pull it off -arrow B-  .
  5. Pull off connector for camshaft switch-over valve.

    1. 5.1. Release and remove connector.
