Removing External Power Connection

WARNING: Working on the vehicle electrical system

Risk of burns
Risk of short circuit or fire.

→ Disconnect the battery.

→ Prevent battery from reconnecting.

→ Cover the battery.

→ Remove ground terminal and cover the terminals.

→ Route electric lines without tensile strength.

→ Secure electric lines to existing lines/components.

Open cap -1- and unscrew fastening nut -2- on the B+ line.

Remove B+ lines.
1. 2.1. Open cap -1- .
2. 2.2. Screw off fastening nut -2- for B+ lines.
3. 2.3. Remove B+ lines -3, 4 and 5- .

Release connecting piece for B+ lines -1- (-arrows A- ) and remove it -arrow B- .

Unscrew fastening screw -1- and remove external power connection -2- (-arrow- ).

Release locking lugs on the external power connection -1- (-arrows A- ) and remove external power connection -1- from the B+ line -2- (-arrow B- ).
