Removing Wire Harness For Rear Window, Left

  1. Wire harness, left
  2. Wire harness, right
  1. Unscrew fastening nut -arrow 1-  and remove ground strap together with torsion protection -a-  from ground pin.

  2. Release support for socket -arrows A-  and remove from opening -arrow B-  .
  3. Release -arrows A-  and press out the pink socket -arrow B-  .

  4. Release support -arrow C-  , open it -arrow D-  and remove ground strap -arrow E-  .
  5. Release bracket -arrows A-  and remove both plug connections -arrows B-  .

  6. Release plug connections -arrow C-  and disconnect -arrows D-  .
  7. Press out rubber sleeve -arrow A-  and remove wire harness in a downward direction through pneumatic spring housing -arrow B-  .

  8. Release wiring duct -arrow A-  and remove it from hinge -arrow B-  .

  9. Release cover -arrows C-  , take it off the wiring duct -arrow D-  and remove wiring duct from wire harness.
  10. Undo fastening screws -arrows 3-  and remove GPS sensor -arrow A-  .

  11. Release connector -arrow B-  and disconnect it from the GPS sensor -arrow C-  .
  12. Pull off connector on right antenna amplifier -arrow A-  .

  13. Loosen the adhesive tape -arrows B-  , then release both antenna plugs -arrows C-  and pull them off.

    Information 

    • Only for vehicles with telephone antenna!

  14. Remove left antenna amplifier. → Removing Antenna Amplifier
  15. Release the lock -arrows A-  and pull off the telephone antenna plug -arrow B-  .

  16. Remove rubber sleeve from rear spoiler -arrow A-  .

  17. Pull off line from Velcro strip segments -arrow B-  and remove.
  18. Remove complete wire harness on hinge to the rear -arrow-  .
