Installing Wiring Harness For Rear Window, Right

Wiring harness, left

Tie water line and the individual lines together with fabric tape -A- .

Secure lines with fabric tape to the flat side -arrow B- of the combination plug.
Push wire harness along hinge through pneumatic spring housing -arrows C- .
Pull out wire harness in a downward direction -arrow D- . If necessary, push lead from the outside.
Information
- When installing the wire harness, make sure the insulation of the line is not damaged.
Remove fabric tape and lay leads to the connection points.
Join up water line -arrows A- until it is felt to engage.

Insert lines and water line into support -arrow B- , then close support -arrow C- until locking tab -arrow D- is felt to engage.
Push socket into socket support -arrow B- until locking tabs -arrows A- are felt to engage.

Press in support for socket -arrow C- until locking tabs -arrows D- are felt to engage.
Insert connector -arrow A- until locking tabs -arrows B- are felt to engage.

Connect both plug connections -arrows A- until locking tabs -arrows B- are felt to engage.

Press plug connections into support -arrows C- until locking tabs are felt to engage -arrows D- .
Screw down ground strap together with twist lock -a- to ground pin -arrow 1- .

Pull in rubber sleeve -arrow A- until it is felt to engage in opening -arrow B- .
Apply adhesive sealant to edges -arrows A- and press in Styrofoam element -arrow B- until it is felt to engage in the opening.

Press rubber sleeve into rear spoiler -arrow A- .

Position wire harness in rear spoiler and press onto Velcro strip segments -arrows B- .
Lay wire harness in wiring duct and push on cover -arrow A- until locking tabs -arrows B- are felt to engage.

Push wiring duct onto hinge -arrow C- until locking tabs are felt to engage.
Insert antenna plug -arrow A- until locking mechanism -arrow B- is felt to engage.

Connect red line to B+ connection of right antenna amplifier -arrow C- .
Tighten ground strap with fastening screw -arrow 2- .
Push plug connection together -arrows A- until the locking lug -arrow B- is felt to engage.

Push Styrofoam element over plug connection -arrow C- .
Connect water line to windscreen washer nozzle -arrow A- until it is felt to engage.

Attach plug onto brake light -arrow B- until locking tab -arrow C- is felt to engage.
Connect plug connections -arrows D- until locking tabs -arrow E- are felt to engage.
