Installing Wiring Harness For Rear Window, Left

  1. Wiring harness, left
  2. Wiring harness, right
  1. Push wire harness through along hinge -arrow A-  .

  2. Pull wire harness through the opening -arrows B-  until the rubber sleeve -arrow C-  is felt to engage in the pneumatic spring housing.
  3. Push pink socket into socket support -arrow A-  until locking tabs -arrows B-  are felt to engage.

  4. Insert ground strap into support -arrow C-  .
  5. Close the support -arrow D-  until the locking tab -arrow E-  is felt to engage.
  6. Press in support for socket -arrow A-  until locking tabs -arrows B-  are felt to engage.

  7. Screw down both ground straps together with torsion protection -a-  onto ground pin using fastening nut -arrow 1-  . → Tightening torque: 6.5 ftlb. 
  8. Insert pink connector -arrow A-  until the locking tabs -arrows B-  are felt to engage.

  9. Push connectors into sockets of same colour -arrows A-  until locking tabs -B-  are felt to engage.

  10. Press plug connections into the brackets -arrows C-  until locking tabs are felt to engage -arrows D-  .
  11. Lay wire harness in wiring duct and push on cover -arrow A-  until locking tabs -arrows B-  are felt to engage.

  12. Push wiring duct onto hinge -arrow C-  until locking tabs are felt to engage.
  13. Insert rubber sleeve into rear spoiler -arrow A-  .

  14. Position wire harness in rear spoiler and press onto Velcro strip segments to secure -arrow B-  .

    Information 

    • Only for vehicles with telephone antenna!

  15. Connect telephone antenna plug to the line -arrow A-  until locking tabs of lock -arrows B-  are felt to engage.

  16. Push wire harness through under the right wire harness -arrow A-  .

  17. Push both connectors onto right antenna amplifier -arrows B-  until locking tabs -arrow C-  are felt to engage.

    Information 

    • When connecting plugs, observe colour marking -a- on antenna amplifier.

  18. Push connector onto white connection -b-  of right antenna amplifier -arrow D-  .
  19. Push connector through under the support -arrow A-  .

  20. Push the connector onto the GPS sensor -arrow B-  until the locking tab -C-  is felt to engage.
  21. Screw down the GPS sensor with both fastening screws -arrows 3-  .
