Installing Hydraulic Valve For Camshaft Adjustment

  1. Replace sealing ring on hydraulic valve. Do not insert sealing ring twisted when fitting it.
  2. Coat sealing ring lightly with engine oil and insert the hydraulic valve into the cylinder head. Any installation position is possible.
  3. Fit and tighten fastening screws.

    1. Screw, M12
    2. Hexagon sleeve
    3. Camshaft controller
    4. Washer (reusable); replace if disassembled completely
    5. Camshaft control hydraulic valve
    6. Screw, M5 x 12 → Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.5 ft lbs.)
