Removing Oil Pump

Unscrew the fastening screws on the oil pump -arrows- .

Screw threaded bolt -1- into the oil pump shaft.

Position striker -2- and carefully knock the oil pump out. Striker VW 771/1 Threaded part VW 771/15

Pull striker off the oil pump.
