Installing Crankshaft Pulse Sender

Check the sealing ring on the crankshaft pulse sender and replace it if necessary.

Fit crankshaft pulse sender into the cylinder block. Align and screw fastening screw in hand-tight.

Tighten fastening screw. Crankshaft pulse sender → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft lbs.)
Use a wire or auxiliary cable to guide the cable for the crankshaft pulse sender between the cylinder block and oil-filter housing/engine carrier.
Connect cable plug and slide onto oil dip stick guide tube.

Press the two coolant hoses onto the intake-air distributor and fit screw on oil dip stick. Insert dip stick. -1-
