Removing Right Knock Sensor

  1. Remove intake manifold. → WM 243519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR BOX FOR THROTTLE HOUSING ON DFI ENGINES (INTAKE PIPES UPSTREAM OF THROTTLE VALVE)
  2. Remove connector on the right knock sensor (under the exhaust manifold) at the front of the cylinder head cover and release the socket -A, B and E in bottom part of illustration-.

  3. Unscrew the right knock sensor (under the exhaust manifold). To do this, loosen the fastening screw -arrow-  and remove the knock sensor. Unclip cable. Remove knock sensor.
