Installing Left Knock Sensor

Observe the specified tightening torque for the knock sensor screw.
Align the housing and cable plug for the knock sensor in such a way that they are not touching.
Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the knock sensor will work correctly.

Clean attachment surfaces of knock sensor on the cylinder block with a cloth.
The installation position is difficult to reach.

Move knock sensor and fastening screw into installation position.
Tighten fastening screws to the specified torque. → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft lbs.)
Connect cable plug for knock sensor.
