Removing Desiccator

→ Avoid contact with refrigerant.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Information 

• The dryer is in the capacitor, on the right-hand side. 
• Two people are needed to remove the dryer. 

1. Remove air cleaner cover. → Removing Air Cleaner Housing .

2. Unscrew rubber sleeve on the condenser -arrow A-  and pull it up and off -arrow B-  .

3. -A-  Using a slide hammer kit Nr.168  , push plug down and turn Seeger ring until accessible from air filter.

4. Using Seeger ring pliers Nr.70  remove Seeger ring -B-  .
5. Screw hexagonal screw into plug and pull plug out in upward direction using slide hammer set Nr.168.

6. Lift dryer out in upward direction.
