Removing The Compressor-Condenser Line (A - B)

WARNING: Refrigerant
  • Danger of freezing

→ Avoid contact with refrigerant.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

  1. Remove refrigerant by suction. → Draining And Filling In Refrigerant 
  2. Unscrew fastening screw on the refrigerant line -A-  for the compressor at the condenser.

  3. Disconnect the refrigerant line.
  4. Unscrew fastening screw for the refrigerant line -A-  on the air conditioning compressor.

  5. Pull out the refrigerant line from the compressor and remove downwards from the engine area.
