Installing Control Unit For Gas-Discharge Headlight

Information 

Make sure the connector for the control unit for the gas discharge lamp is perfectly straight when fitting it into the Bi-Xenon headlight. Do not use force when inserting the connector.

  1. Position control unit for gas-discharge headlight -2-  on the Bi-Xenon headlight -3-  in -direction of arrow-  and secure it with the three fastening screws -2-  . → Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)

  2. If a new control unit for the gas-discharge headlight was installed, it must be programmed using the PIWIS Tester 9718.
