Removing ATF Thermostat

Place oil collecting container underneath the vehicle.
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Information
- Counter when loosening the ATF lines.
Undo ATF line screw connection on cooler side -arrows- at the thermostat.

Unscrew fastening screw -2- securing ATF line to thermostat.

Unscrew fastening screw -1- securing ATF thermostat to cooler.

Information
- To prevent oil from spreading into the body front section, a material 00000 should be held underneath.
Hold shop-made tool material 00000 -illustration- under the ATF thermostat.

Disconnect ATF lines from thermostat and drain off ATF.
Remove thermostat.
