- Loosen the connecting links at the left and right. To do this, raise the wheel carrier so that the connecting link fastening bolt can be removed easily. Use a suitable jack with a rubber base → see Fig 3 to prevent slipping.
- Loosen the expansion hose at the two fastening points -arrows- and unclip it carefully at the sides.
- Mark the two lines using a touch-up stick, from the steel flexi-pipe to the anti-roll bar housing
(rear anti-roll bar shown).
Information
The anti-roll bar halves can turn following removal and hydraulic fluid will leak out.
- Close the openings in the anti-roll bar using suitable plugs or screw plugs.
- Loosen the two lines on the anti-roll bar using an open-ended wrench. Use a container to collect emerging fluid and close the lines using suitable plugs.
- Loosen the four fastening screws on the anti-roll bar and remove the clips.
- Mark the installation position (arrow) → see Fig 6 of the anti-roll-bar mount halves with respect to the anti-roll bar with a touch-up stick.
- Carefully remove the anti-roll bar while taking care not to damage adjacent components.
