Overview Of Front Wheel Bearing

-1-  Wheel bearing housing 1   Carry out a close visual inspection of the seat of the wheel bearing. There must not be scores, grooves or deformations.
-2-  Wheel bearing 1 The wheel bearing can no longer be used after it is removed. Use a new wheel bearing. Do not press on the inner race. Insert the wheel bearing with the magnetic multiple-pole ring to the drive shaft. Check the magnetic side (e.g., with a paper clip). Do not use magnets or screw drivers to check!
-3-  Circlip 1   Use new circlip.
-4-  Wheel hub 1 Pull inner race of wheel bearing off separately from the wheel hub. Carry out a close visual inspection of the seat of the wheel hub. There must not be scores, grooves or similar deformations on the hub.
-5-  Axle nut (fastening nut) 1   Always replace. Grease the contact surface with a little Optimoly TA. Use the specified tightening torque.
