Removing Top Section Of Gearshift Bracket

Remove centre console trim panel.
Remove foam mat.

Lock gearshift lever in neutral position using special tool locking bridge 9619 -arrow- .

Remove transverse strut on centre console -arrows- .

NOTE:
Incorrect handling of fastening part
- Tab on fastening part can break off
→ Only bend fastening part as far as the release.
Pull shift and selector cable off gearshift bracket. To do this, release the fastening parts using a screwdriver -arrows- .

Remove special tool locking bridge 9619.
Unscrew fastening screws -arrows- on top section of gearshift bracket.

Remove top section of gearshift bracket.
