Installing Transmission Mount

Insert new rubber mounting in tool T10214/2 (calibrating sleeve) . Place tool T10214/3 on the plastic ring of the mount without screwing it to the mount.

Press the transmission mount on the workshop press into tool T10214/2 (calibrating sleeve) until it is flush -arrows- with the upper edge. The tool T10214/1 -1- must be placed underneath.

Information

If tool T10214/3 is not screwed to the mount, this can damage the tool.
Screw tool T10214/3 to the calibrated mount.

Tool T10214/3 together with the new mount must be positioned on the transmission cross member. The notch on the special tool -arrow- must be aligned with the marking -arrow- on the transmission cross member before being removed.

Press the calibrated mount -2- into the transmission cross member using the workshop press. When doing so, make sure the mount is aligned with the transmission cross member.

1. 5.1. To do this, place tool T10214/1 under the opening in the transmission cross member. The mount is at the correct installation position when the tool T10214/2 can move freely.

Unscrew tool T10214/3 from the mount.

Information

When pressing in the mount, the mount may not be seated evenly in the transmission cross member.
Tool T10214/3 must be repositioned on the projecting side and the mount must be pressed in flush until it is installed evenly in the transmission cross member.
