Removing Selector Lever Cable

Information

When a new selector lever cable is used, this should be connected directly to the old cable when it is removed. This ensures that it is routed correctly.

Remove heat shield on the transmission. To do this, unscrew three fastening screws -arrow- .

Remove tab washer -A- on the cable.

Unscrew selector lever cable from the ball joint with universal disassembly tool Nr.21.

Pull selector lever cable up and out through the lower part of the selector frame.
