- The convoluted air bellows on the cardan shafts may be damaged by external influences, e.g. during off-road driving or similar use.
- Result: loss of a large amount of grease, dirt can get into the universal joint.
- Premature replacement of the cardan shaft may be necessary.
- Check the convoluted air bellows on the centre bearing for damage. To do this, gradually turn the cardan shaft by 180°.
