Installing Sealing Ring For Vibration Balancer

  1. The sealing faces must all be clean and free of grease.
  2. Apply the sealant 000 043 300 39 as shown in the illustration -arrows-  . Make sure that the bead of sealant is not thicker than approx. 2 to 3 mm and is applied on the inside past the bores. Fit the joint flange within 5 minutes.

  3. Push special tool (guide sleeve) assembly fixture T10215 -1-  onto the crankshaft journal -3-  at the front. Push joint flange -2-  over the guide sleeve and place in installation position.

  4. Screw down joint flange. → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft lbs.)
