Installing Mud Flaps

- Drill out assembly holes.
Only for a new rear apron.
- 1.1. Adjust the mud flap to suit the rear apron.
- 1.2. Drill holes measuring → Diameter: 8 mm into the markings on the bumper from inside.
- 1.3. De-burr holes from the outside.
- Clean the bonding area.
Information
As a replacement for Isopropanol cleaning agents 000 043 157 00 can be used.
- 2.1. Wipe off the fitting area -A- with a cloth soaked in isopropanol.
- Fit mud flap.
- 3.1. Fit the mud flap -2- .
- 3.2. Screw in fastening screws -1- .
Information
- The object and room temperature must be at least 18° C for bonding the components.
- The components must be bonded for at least 24 hours before washing the vehicle.
- Fit wheel cover (junction piece) to the wing.
- 4.1. Pull protective paper -B- off the adhesive tape.
- 4.2. Align the wheel cover -3- with the mud flap -2- and place it on the bumper.
- 4.3. Press evenly and firmly on the wheel cover in the bonding area with the ball of your hand.
