Removing Door Entry Guard

  1. Remove tapping screws (4.8 x 16) at rear of door entry guard (2 x; -A-  ) in wheel arch area.

  2. Remove screw (M6 x 14) (1x; -A-  ) in wing area.

  3. Press in pin of expanding rivets (10 x) on underside of vehicle and pull out expanding rivet.

  4. Heat bonded area of vehicle sill and door entry guard using a hot air blower. Nr.155-1 Pos.2 
  5. Detach adhesive bond of door entry guard using a plastic wedge.
  6. Remove door entry guard.
