Disassembling Front Roof Console

Remove front roof console. → Removing Switch For Sliding Roof

Information

The repair description relates to a fully equipped roof console.

Unscrew fastening screw -1- and take out the sun visor along with the support -2- (-arrow- ).

Unlock connector on garage door opener control unit -arrows A- and pull it off -arrow B- .

Unscrew the two fastening screws -2- and remove the control unit -arrow C- .

Unscrew the fastening screws -3- and take out the support -arrow D- .

Turn the sockets of the bulbs for interior lighting to the left -arrow A- and remove them -arrow B- .

Pull the piece of plastic foam off the plug connection -arrow A- .

Carefully pull the three locking tabs -A- apart and pull the switch up and out -B- .

Release sensor for interior monitoring -arrows A- and remove it from the roof console -arrows B- .

Carefully pull the connector off the printed circuit board -arrow B- .

Press in the two clips -arrows A- and press the reading light out in a downward direction -arrow B- .
