Installing Engine Carrier

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Porsche Cayenne, 2009 Porsche Cayenne, and 2008 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install engine carrier. To do this, first fit and tighten the fastening screws (M10) -arrows-  on the hydraulic mounts → Tightening torque: 60 Nm (44 ft lbs.)  . Then tighten the fastening nuts -A-  if necessary. Threaded connection securing hydraulic mount to engine carrier → Tightening torque: 75 Nm (56 ft lbs.).

  2. Tighten new fastening screws securing the engine carrier to the body. → Initial tightening: 120 Nm (89 ft lbs.)  → Torque angle: 180°
