Replacing Crankcase On 4.8-litre DFI Engines

  1. Disassemble the engine. → Disassembling V6 DFI Engine 
  2. The crankcase must only be replaced as a complete unit with the upper and lower part matching.
  3. Fit new crankshaft bearings. Replace piston rings. Visually inspect pistons.
