Removing the starter

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to loads or to the control unit

Disconnect the battery before removing the component or control unit.

Unscrew fastening nuts -1 and 2- on the starter and remove lines -3 and 4- (-arrow-).

Unscrew the two fastening screws -1-.

Remove the starter.
1. Pull starter -1- towards the front in direction of travel -arrow A- and lift it up -arrow B-.
2. Remove line -2- (-arrow C-).
3. Lift the starter -1- up and remove it -arrow D-.
