Installing the starter

Install the starter.
1. Insert the starter -1- from above -arrow A-.
2. Fit line -2- (-arrow B-).
3. Lower starter -1- (-arrow C-) and push into the engine housing -arrow D-.

Screw down starter with the fastening screws -1-. → Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)+8 Nm (+6 ftlb.)

Position lines -3 and 4- on starter -arrow- and screw down with the fastening nuts -1 and 2-. → Tightening torque: 18 Nm (13 ftlb.), → Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm (5 ftlb.)
