Information On Tire Sealing Compound: Information

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Porsche Cayenne, 2009 Porsche Cayenne, and 2008 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The intended position for the Tire sealing compound should be taken from the Driver's Manual (index: Tire sealing compound/sealant set for defective tires).

The Tire sealing compound must be replaced every 4 years to guarantee the sealing effect in the event of minor damage to the tires.

The expiry date can be found on the packaging for the Tire sealing compound/sealant set.

The Driver's Manual for the vehicle describes its use in detail (sealing of Tire in the event of minor slashing damage). The Tire sealing compound/sealant set is also supplied with instructions.

The Tire sealing compound is readily flammable and hazardous to health. Warnings to this effect are printed on the bottle and given in the Driver's Manual.
