Replacing Damper For Foot-Operated Parking Brake (FPB)

Position of the damper on the foot-operated parking brake (FPB) pedal

Information 

The foot-operated parking brake pedal does not need to be removed in order to replace the damper.

  1. To remove the damper, lift the two clamps -arrows-  slightly and pull the damper off the ball pin.

  2. To install the damper, first fit the clamps at the correct position or check that the clamps are seated correctly. Then fit the damper at the correct position. The mountings must lock with an audible click.
