Removing Front Brake Disc

Information
- In order to gain better access for removal of the brake calliper, it is beneficial to turn the wheels fully either to the right or the left.
- Release retainer for connector for wear indicator on wheel carrier.
- Disconnect the speed sensor (ABS sensor).
- Push brake pads back slightly and evenly with piston resetting fixure -piston resetting fixture (replaces P83) NR.144- . → see -direction arrow- . Make sure that no brake fluid runs out of the supply tank - remove brake fluid by suction if necessary.
- Remove brake calliper on the wheel carrier and hang it in a suitable place in the wheel well (do not open brake hydraulics!).
- Remove brake disc after unscrewing the fastening screw. If necessary, remove the brake disc by tapping it gently with a rubber hammer.
