Installing Wiper Arms

  1. Fit wiper arms on the wiper linkage.
  2. The windscreen has specific points at which the wipers must be positioned.
    1. 2.1. Top priority is given to the wiper on the driver's side at points -C-  and -D-  .
    2. 2.2. Then position the wiper on the passenger's side at points -A-  and -B-  .

  3. Fit washer -2A  - and O-ring -2B  -.

  4. Screw on and tighten fastening nut -2-  . → Tightening torque: 32 Nm (24 ftlb.) 
  5. Screw on and tighten fastening nut -3-  . → Tightening torque: 18 Nm (13 ftlb.) 
  6. Close the bonnet.
  7. Activate the one-touch wipe function and check the position of the wiper arms.
  8. Open the bonnet.
  9. Press on the cap -1-  .
