Depressurising The Off-Road Stabiliser System (ORS)

Information

To obtain a correct measured result, the system must be depressurised. Only then will the correct fluid level be displayed.

Connect the Porsche System Tester and switch on the ignition. Switch off the >> Low Range << off-road driving program. To do this, use the -rocker switch on centre console (direction arrow)- to select the appropriate driving program. The -indicator light (arrow)- must be OFF. In the menu >> off-road Stabi (ORS) >> Drive links, select >> Clock front-axle valve or rear-axle valve <<.

The solenoid valve clocks (audibly) until the overpressure has been compensated. The fluid level in the reservoir of -control mechanism C- of the offroad stabiliser rises.

The valve no longer clocks. Now the correct fluid level can be read on the dipstick.
Disconnect the Porsche System Tester. After switching on the ignition again and engaging Low Range, the system adjusts automatically to the correct pressure.
