Removing Motor For Drive Mechanism

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Unhook locking lugs -2-  using a suitable tool and remove upper trim panel -1-  .

2. Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .

   Unclip fixing clip -2-  and move wire harness aside.

3. Press lower trim panel -1-  down, turn it -A-  to release it from the guiding groove -2-  and remove it.

4. Remove retaining pin for motor for drive mechanism -2-  .
   1. 4.1. Press out retaining clip -1-  using a suitable tool and remove it.

   2. 4.2. Press retaining pin -2-  aside and pull it out using a suitable pliers.
5. Remove motor for drive mechanism -1-  .
   1. 5.1. Press motor for drive mechanism -1-  down at the rear.
   2. 5.2. Carefully press trim panel for rear wall aside until the motor support -2-  is accessible.
   3. 5.3. Pull motor support -2-  forward against the spring force -A-  and press the guide pin -3-  down -B-  at the same time.
   4. 5.4. Remove motor for drive mechanism -1-  by pulling it to the rear.
