Procedure For Cleaning The Convertible Top

Maintain a minimum distance of 300 mm between the power washer spray jet and the convertible top. Do not direct the high-pressure blast directly onto the seals.
Before using the Wash Shampoo, clean highly soiled areas using a power washer (starting at the cowl panel frame and moving towards the convertible-top compartment lid)

Mixing the Wash Shampoo from the Tequipment care case, Cabriolet : 1/2 cap (measuring cap) -A- to 2 liters of water (i.e. 1 1/2 caps to 5 liters)

Use a brush with strong, non-scratch bristles. Rub the water/shampoo mixture into the convertible top fabric in circular movements while pressing slightly on the brush until a film of foam forms.

Do not let the Wash Shampoo dry in. Rinse the foam thoroughly off the convertible top, starting at the cowl panel frame and moving towards the convertible-top compartment lid.
