Adjusting Convertible Top Lock

Information 

If the installation position was not marked during removal, the convertible top lock must be adjusted using the following method.

1. Position convertible top lock.
   1. 1.1. Fit convertible top lock on the roof frame.
   2. 1.2. Fit new fastening screws.
   3. 1.3. Slide convertible top lock back completely. -arrow-

2. Tighten fastening screws to initial tightening torque. → Initial tightening torque: 6 Nm

3. Close the convertible top completely using the switch in the vehicle.
4. Move convertible top to service position. →  6101IN CONVERTIBLE TOP SERVICE POSITION  
5. Mark the position of the lock. -arrows-

6. Loosen fastening screws.
7. Move convertible top lock by -dimension X-  away from direction of travel. → Adjustment value: 1.5 mm

8. Tighten fastening screws to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 36 Nm (27 ftlb.)
