Removing Cover For Front Backrest

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .

Disengage cover from the cut-out for the backrest cover all the way around -arrow- .
Pull out plastic rivets -1- .

Disengage restraining strap -1- for the cover at the left and right.
Unclip rear seat cover -2- by pulling it downwards.
Loosen fastening screws -3- for ISOFIX clips -4- .

Pull the bottom of the cover forward between the backrest and seat -A- .

Release electric plug connection for seat heating (if installed) -1- (-a- ) and disconnect it -A- .

Cut tie-wrap and guide out electric wire harness for seat heating.
Pull padding out between the seat and backrest -A- .

Carefully guide out the top of the cover at the guides for the headrest.
Carefully lift padding with cover up and remove it -B- .
