Removing Air Guide For HV Battery

Information 

When removing and installing the air guides, make sure that the foam seals on the air guides are not damaged and seal the connection points all the way around.

  1. Lift up air guide for HV battery -1-  and pull it out of the air guide -2-  .

    Remove KESSY antenna from air guide for HV battery.



Information 

The HV battery is cooled through the air guide. Air from the luggage compartment is guided to the battery through the HV battery fans. The condenser in the air guide is used to cool or heat the battery. The temperature that is transferred to the HV battery is the same as the temperature that is set on the climate control panel in the passenger compartment.

Information 

When removing and installing the air guides, make sure that the foam seals on the air guides are not damaged and seal the connection points all the way around.

  1. Unscrew fastening nut -1-  .

  2. Lift up the air guide and pull it out to the rear (direction of travel) through the carpeted floor.
