Removing Expansion Valve

→ Observe the safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant.

→ Observe the safety regulations for extraction and filling systems.

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Information

The refrigerant connections must be closed off immediately using suitable stoppers once the refrigerant lines have been removed.

Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1- for refrigerant lines -2- at the expansion valve -3- .

Pull refrigerant lines out of the expansion valve and close off using stoppers.
Unscrew fastening screws -1- for the expansion valve -2- and remove expansion valve.
