Removing Rear Door Sub-Frame

Disconnect electric plug connection -1- between the body and door.
1. 1.1. Unclip rubber cover for the wire harness at the B-pillar and pull it back.
2. 1.2. Turn retaining bar -2- down by 90° -A- .
3. 1.3. Disconnect electric plug connection -1- .

Push wire harness with connector through the opening into the vehicle door.
Loosen door window glass.
1. 3.1. Remove stoppers and wiring harness -3- .

  Loosen left-thread fastening screws by turning them clockwise.
2. 3.2. Loosen fastening screws on the mounting pieces -4- .

3. 3.3. Pull door window out of the mounting pieces and fix in place in the upper position using adhesive tape.

Remove front door sub-frame.
1. 4.1. Remove fabric tape -5- from the holes.

2. 4.2. Unscrew fastening screw -1- on inner part of door handle.

3. 4.3. Unscrew fastening screws -2- on door lock.

4. 4.4. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -7- for the window lifter.

5. 4.5. On vehicles with sun blind, pull up guide tube for push rod.
6. 4.6. Turn clips by 90° and pull them out of the door sub-frame -8- to the vehicle door.
7. 4.7. Pull door sub-frame outwards and then inwards.
8. 4.8. Unhook inner part of door handle.

9. 4.9. Pull wiring harness for B-pillar through the opening into the vehicle door.
10. 4.10. Remove door sub-frame by guiding out the door lock with mounting bracket -arrow A- .
