Installing Lock Peg

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

Position lock peg (striker pin) and screw in the fastening screws -2- .

Carefully close vehicle door and check that the lock peg is positioned correctly with respect to the lock.
Adjust the lock peg to suit the lock as required.
Tighten fastening screws -2- to Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) .
Check adjustment of vehicle door and adjust it if necessary. → 585115 ADJUSTING REAR DOOR
