Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Information

The striker pin can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the C-pillar.
The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed.

Loosen the fastening screws -2- .
Adjust the lock peg.

1. 2.1. Move the lock peg -1- outwards (if necessary) using a slide hammer kit Nr.168 .
Adjust the lock peg back/down/up (if necessary).
1. 3.1. Move catch bar -1- to the required position using a plastic hammer.
2. 3.2. Carefully close vehicle door and check adjustment.
Screw in fastening screws -2- and tighten to Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.).
